Adding a custom token to your Phantom Wallet is a simple process. Here's how to do it:
Steps to Add a Token in Phantom Wallet:
Open Phantom Wallet
Launch the Phantom app or browser extension.
Go to Your Wallet
Click on the wallet where you want to add the token.
Find the Token Addition Option
On mobile: Tap the "Tokens" tab at the bottom, then the "+" (plus) icon in the top-right corner.
On desktop: Click the "Add / Show Tokens" button (usually at the bottom of the asset list).
Enter the Token Mint Address
You'll need the correct token mint address (a long alphanumeric string).
You can find this on Solana explorers (like Solscan or Solana Explorer) or the token's official website.
Paste the address into the search bar.
Confirm & Add the Token
Phantom will fetch the token details (name, symbol, decimals).
Verify the token is correct (scammers may create fake tokens with similar names).
Click "Add Token" to include it in your wallet.
View Your Token
The token should now appear in your wallet’s asset list.
If you don’t see it, try refreshing the wallet.
